Afterburn
A puppet on a lonely string I sway,
Every other has broke away, alone
I hang torn since that day breaking away,
Losing every part of me, now just one.
However can I say you pushed me far away,
But I decided to stay, live to die
I love you and only you, is that okay?
If this is true how can I lie, I try.
Whenever I have to wake up wishing
I had a second time or could at least
Feel it again but now I am dying
Inside the feeling is strange, love deceased.
I see your face everywhere I go
Life has taken a flame to that string, let go
