Love Is Blind
An angel has not the beauty she does.
My heart is euphoric when our eyes meet.
Each part of her body is like roses
From her lovely hair to her blessed feet.
And yet my eyes must view her from afar,
Since her splendor is enjoyed by no man.
Not to mention my courting her is barred
By the futility of a past plan.
Call me a fool for wishing for her love?
Then I am the biggest jester of all.
Love is blind, with no guidance from above,
So her hypnotic grace is my downfall.
Care not I should I face the gates of Hell.
For if she is in my arms, all is well.
