sympathy
So you know how it is
when you're sitting with some kid
and they tell you something personal
or something that they've hid
And you two aren't good friends
so you don't have much to say
and all the words you mumble
are just getting in the way
So now you're real uncomfortable
And the silence still grows dim
they're regretting everything
as you feel bad for them
"Im sorry" sounds so stupid
and nows no time for fun
so you just whisper "Oh my God"
and now the moment's done
And when you look back latter
you'll feel bad for what you did
when they needed friendship
you took your love and hid
It's just you're not that empathetic
and say you make it worse?
it seems that you coined "foot-in-mouth"
your stupid lips are cursed
