Jimmy Joe was an ordinary boy

All he wanted was a new shiny toy 

For his tenth birthday, he dreamt of a car 

A brand new Hot Wheels, with an orange star 

The morning of his birthday, he saw it 

The gold shimmery wrapping paper split 

When he opened it, he started to cry 

All Jimmy could manage to say was, “Why?”  

The paper enclosed a twelve pack of socks 

However, there was one more lonely box 

Jimmy Joe ran over to the present 

However this time, his gift was decent 

It contained a Batmobile Lego set 

He let out a blood-curdling scream, “BETTT” 

Even though Jimmy didn’t get his Hot Wheels 

He still got a new, cool, automobile
