Spent our first four years meeting every day

Staying together was always the best

You made my days shine when they were gray

Having a friend like you, I feel blessed

Then you had to leave and go some other place

One of the hardest things was saying bye

For weeks tears kept falling off my eye

Dear friend, I miss you tremendously

Us, like the stars dazzling in the night         

We can not see everyday presently 

But our memories keep our lives bright

And distance hasn’t kept our friendship apart
