Praise the LORD

Praise the LORD, and shout His praise
Of He who overflows with love,
Who never considers giving up,
Who gladly bears our merited pain,
Who in the feast and famine remains.
Marvel and wonder at what He’s done,
Fervently watch for the day He comes
And in a world unending reigns.
Praise the LORD, the Author of hope,
Praise Him for the coming dawn
When those you’ve lost are lost no more.
With heart and mind and strength and soul,
From now to then, and from then on,
Forever and always, praise the LORD!
