Mom
The night you left was very grim.
I grabbed your hand as I wept
watched as your eyes went dim,
I was hoping you just over slept.
But once I wailed your name.
The truth started to settle in,
I knew your time had came.
Every night I ponder what could've been.
There was a hole in my heart
why did He take you?
Did I not do my part?
I watched as you're hands went blue.
I hope you're happy now
But I know you'll disavow.
