I hate being everyone's second best!
Does it feel good to make me feel so small?
A strong feeling of a knive in my chest;
Everyone takes a turn, "free knives for all"!
Everyone I know stabs me in the back.
Why is everyone so fake, and two-faced?
Why is my life always under attack?
Making my family feel so disgraced.
Sorry I disappoint you mom and dad!
I know that I'm not as good as he is!
But why do you have to treat me so bad?
I don't know why God feels I deserve this!
Second best in his eyes, where I will stay,
One day I will learn, and just stay away.

This sonnet is about my older brother and my parents mostly my father who favors him over me and makes sure I know it. I don't like feeling like the second best all of the time and this art and love of the things I'm doing is something that my older brother never could and I'm so happy to be me. Keep your head up, YOU WILL BE OKAY!
