Why Winter Came
Shall I talk to thee about the King of the North?
His beauty, brain which is as prominent as his pain
A man who trusted in the Lords of his Earth
Sadly, they could not let him continue to reign
Called to a wedding, some may say a celebration
His wife’s hand in his, for inside another one grew
Thoughts of his son being his father’s reincarnation
Their souls being eaten into morning’s dew
But betrayal could not be their glorious ends
The future would have no name like a faceless man
For actions like these will never have amends
Little by little, the North will ban
“The North remembers”, she did say
“Tell them Winter came for house Frey”.
