Fairy Tale
Verse 1:
I'm lost in a world where
Fairy tales aren't real
You can put on your big dress
and slip on your heels but
When you arrive at the ball
You look down the hall
The kids are smoking marijuana
Drinking up all the Vodka
Verse 2:
The clock ain't even stricked 12
But your dress just dissapeared
You are wearing skinny ripped jeans
And a Low cut shirt that isn't clean
Verse 3:
This boy just took you by the hand
He says it's just a one night stand
That it's alright
It's okay
No one's gonna find out anyway
Chorus:
But this is not a fairy tale
They dont exist any more
So get your head out of the book
Brace yourself and take a look
Verse 4:
It's her big dress
His blue eyes
This ball room
Covered up in lies

I wrote this song to express my feelings towards "growing up." When you were little you were taught that when you grew up, it was going to be this big fairy tale and you were going to have the perfect boyfriend and the perfect life... But then you actually grow up and you learn that it's not what you were taught it was. You learn that society has taken a downfall and then you find yourself in the middle of it.
