Getting Older
with big imagination comes big fear
big responsibility
so children have to worry
in the dark
it's not fair
that you couldn't sleep
in the darkness with the monsters
not ready to fall asleep
but now
we dont have to worry
we're not in a hurry
anymore
we’re all getting older
but we’re just getting stronger
our fears are growing bolder
than they used to be
and we don’t have to worry
its not all that scary
the darkness seems lighter
the world is so much brighter
so I don't worry
anymore
we’re all getting older
but we’re just getting stronger
our fears are growing bolder
than they used to be
I won’t let my imagination
die with me
I'm ready to fly
to get swept off my feet
i won’t let the silly things
get to me
the darkness doesn't scare me
the monsters have left my bed
and now we all are older
and now we all are stronger
our fears are simply bolder
than they used to be
and we're still getting older
but we're still getting stronger
i dont have to worry
anymore
