Raindrops
I love the way rain patters when it splatters by my feet.
The way it tumbles off the cars and rolls onto the street.
The way it prickles in my hair it makes me feel so neat.
It's like the veins inside my chest that keep my heart in beat.
I love the way rain dances as it trances all aorund.
The way it glides right through the air and slides onto the ground
Then when it thunders through the sky with deafening profound.
Like teardrops falling from my face and drip with every sound.
Rain is so surrounding I forget that there is space.
It tightens up the atmosphere and puts joy in its place.
It's soft as wind and hard as pain that hits you in the face.
I love the sensations that rain brings it fills my life with grace.
