Back From The Dead
Here I stand now,
Back from the land of the dead.
Still unknown,
and my heart still filled with dread.
I’ve been lost,
So long in the fray.
So long so,
Without the light of day.
But I walked,
alone for the longest time.
Wandering out,
So far from my normal rhyme.
But here I stand now,
Back from the land of the dead.
Still unknown,
and my heart still filled with dread.
The choir’s song,
Of burdened love and lost hope.
I listened,
But never could I ever cope.
So I cry,
With no one around.
Tears are falling,
Crashing without their sound.
Scared and cold,
Without a friend’s shoulder.
Again I walk,
As the night turns even colder.
So here I stand now,
Back from the land of the dead.
Still unknown,
and my heart still filled with dread.
The choir’s song,
Of burdened love and lost hope.
I listened,
But never could I ever cope.
