Uneven Sidewalk
(Verse One)
A picture painted
Frame by frame
Only to crash and burn
With such craved shame
Love cannot be called such
If the traveling street
Has a one way sign
That calls for one's defeat
(Chorus)
This isn't even close
To what loves about
So I might as well
Take another route
The lamp is running out
It's starting to get dark
I have to scurry home
On this uneven sidewalk
(Verse Two)
Gasoline can ignite
A hungry, burning desire
But it only means that
You're adding fuel to our fire
So be careful when crossing
The bridge of theft
As it shall eliminate
Any spark that is left
(Chorus)
This isn't even close
To what loves about
So I might as well
Take another route
The lamp is running out
It's starting to get dark
I have to scurry home
On this uneven sidewalk
(Bridge)
Stopped to come across
A dead end it appears
A brittle heart cries
When it sees what it fears
A longing to avoid
What now has shown
All that devotion is gone
And everything I known
(Chorus)
This isn't even close
To what loves about
So I might as well
Take another route
The lamp is running out
It's starting to get dark
I have to scurry home
On this uneven sidewalk
