No One Sees Her Break
Her smile glows and shines so bright
Shes a little girl with a lot of fight
Holds her head high when she passes you by
convinces you life is alright
Shes only 16 years old
happy as can be young and free
shes got a heart of gold
but sometimes shes not what she seems
CHORUS
She breaks down when she sleeps at night
burns her arm with the candle light
Crys tears
broken and weary
stares at her body in the mirror covered in bruises
cuts and scars
from the ones that left her empty
and she crys
but no one sees her break
no one sees her heart decay
She goes to school in the morning
laughs and pretends everything is okay
She picks at life says its boring
when they ask she says yeah its great
She puts on more make up and walks away
she smiles and laughs like shes okay
Shes got the weight of the world on her shoulders
wonders if anyone would care anyway
chorus
And now today, she lost control
went on a rampage
she crys she screams and curses his name
she wants to get away
she has to fly away
Oh look now shes slipped away
chorus
and her memory is all thats left in place
