I was on my way,
To the light of my day,
But then it started to rain.
I was feeling all fine,
Just out of my mind,
To finally see you again.
My heart was all broken,
Thinking of crying away.
And it comes to a point where,
The rain is falling again.

I don't want it to rain,
So please go away.
I'm tired of all the pain,
So why won't it fade away?
I'm dying inside!
It's dark all over my mind.
What I'm trying to say,
Don't fade away,
Rain, rain go away.

One cloudy day, my mom told me that she was going to take me to my best friend's house after almost two months of not seeing her. I was so happy and very excited that I prayed to god to please not make it rain after today. When I went to sleep, I kept having different dreams and nightmares about the same subject. My mom telling me that we couldn't go because of the rain. It would be pouring a lot of rain in those dreams, it felt so real. I woke up in the middle of the night, after my third dream on the same subject. I grabbed a paper and pen, and started writing how I felt. Luckily, I made it into a good song.
