From the Fire Comes Great Things

Red flags and red signs,
telling me to draw the line,
It took so long to realize,
that I aint got a lot of time,
just one more year of this life,
but i've already said goodbye,
the part of me that usta cry,
the little girl i usta be,
letting go, let it be,
I gave up a part of me,
a piece of me i didn't need,
Held me back from my dreams,
Stupid girl im setting free,
Into the fire, watch her leave,
and from the smoke, and the debris,
out steps a female Marine.
