October is to Blame
I can still see you standing there
Fall is tangled in my hair,
it's second week of September the
best day of my life.
My voice shook when I said your name
and I didn't believe that you didn't really care.
As the nights got colder
my heads on your shoulder
as school is a month and a half in,
lets blame it on October
because it hurts to go over
the fact that we’ve both moved on and the good times are gone,
and even though the seasons change I'll still be the same
but nothing lasts for ever so I'll blame it on October.
I still think about how you never held my hand,
never told me that everything would be okay,
all the memories that we never had, and
all the promises that were never fulfilled.
The nights got colder and we're growing older
and even though you never said it
I still believed that you loved me.
I still blame it on October
because the it hurts to go over
the fact that we've both moved on and the good times are gone,
and even though the seasons change
I'm still the same
but nothing lasts for ever so I'll blame it on October.
We've both moved on and the good time are gone .
I blame in on October
because it hurts to go over
the fact we've both moved on and the good times are gone,
and even though the seasons change
I'm still the same
but nothing last for ever,
so lets blame it on October.
I can still see you standing there
Fall is tangled in my hair.
