Now what she wants is jaded.
Someday,
I will figure this place out.
Why the silence drives us mad,
and the noise keeps us at peace,
Blank sheets,
hold memories,
erased to keep from remembering.
But as the waves crash,
I won't fall apart.
Sit down and take hold,
of my world that has gone cold.
Keep my eyes closed and my fingers crossed,
because all she wanted has faded.
Now what she wants is jaded.
Hold me till the sky stops falling.
Yell at me till I don't hear him calling,
The empty space that surrounds me is perfect,
and I don't want anything to change.
Remember me as the one who never wanted to let go,
remember me as the one who loved you so.
