This isn't my favorite, but it's a good quote...

"The world needs Christians who don't tolerate the complacency of their own lives." - Crazy Love

One step closer
to falling off the edge
one step closer
to falling in your hands
one step closer
to letting go my grip
one step closer

I'm about to lose myself
and I'm not sure where I'm going
if I trust you, trust
you would know
I'm walking blindly
and
I'm about to forget myself
and I'm not sure where I'll end up
if you hold me, hold
me I'd see
You are laced with me

One step closer
to falling off the edge
one step closer
to falling in your hands
one step closer
to letting go my grip
one step closer

Right now I'm shadowed with fear
and it is hindering progression
if I tell you, tell
you would know
all my obstacles
and
Right now I'm in tensious space
and it is holding me back
if you take me, take
me I'd see
what is outside me

One step closer
to falling off the edge
one step closer
to falling in your hands
one step closer
to letting go my grip
one step closer

One step over
falling off the edge
one step over
falling in your hands
one step over
letting go my grip
one step over
I'm holding onto you

Very good question. To be honest, I am not sure exactly. I wish I could say I had an inspiration for writing it, but I don't feel as if that was quite known. However, I feel like I was writing it from a more secular perspective.

What would you take it as? Thoughts?
