You crept up like a thief in the night,
Eyes gleaming like a deer in my headlight.
With fingers like claws and a body like perfection,
You stole me without any complication.

Can beauty compensate for being so hollow?
Do you have a guilty conscience to swallow?
I see myself in your reflection,
You’re killing me with your deadly infection.

Why don’t you take someone else’s identity?
You took everything that ever belonged to me.
Always beat me to the punch, always bigger always better.
You’re flaking me out, attention getter.

I’m tired of going from place to place,
watching you wearing what should be my face.
I’m sorry, did you think you’re the queen of hearts?
I guess I should tell you, she was doomed from the start.

Can beauty compensate for being so hollow?
Do you have a guilty conscience to swallow?
I see myself in your reflection,
You’re killing me with your deadly infection….CAN beauty compensate for being so hollow?

I was really angry at one of my friends because I felt like she was constantly mimicking me over everything I did. It seemed like whenever I was into something new, she had to like it too, and do it better than me. I'm not someone who think they need to be different to be cool, but sometimes it gets a little annoying when someone who is close to you "takes your identity." When I confronted her about how I felt, she didn't admit to everything and made excuses, that's probably when I got the angriest. Instead of taking out on her, I took it out in the song. I took a lot of the silly parts out, My favorite being "You seem so glamorous now, but I'm sure you'll end up as a cow."
