There's a lady in my skirt
she was dancin to the music (she made)
dancin to the bangos (she played)
dancin in the jungle's mist

Some people are so crazy
some people act so looney
some people are jsut truly
nuts.

One day, while walkin' in the street

some strange lady came up to me

she said hey, hey hey lady

oh don't you see?
*There's a lady in my skirt
she was dancin to the music (she made)
dancin to the bangos (she played)
dancin in the jungle's mist*
I didn't hear the rest
I just walked away
I screamed, "Please,o, please don't follow me!"

Walked so fast, I almost didn't see

The cute boy on the corner street

...but what I did see
* There was a lady in his shirt
she was dancin to the music (she made)
dancin to the bangos (she played)
dancin in the jungle's mist*
Ooh Lord what's goin' on today
tell me, what's happenin' to me

I feel as if I've lost my mind

and it's not getting any better...

('Cause now I see)
* There's a lady in my skirt
she was dancin to the music (she made)
dancin to the bangos (she played)
dancin in the jungle's mist*

I saw the lady in my skirt
she was dancin to the music (she made)
dancin to the bangos (she played)
maybe I'm the one who's crazy

My words were sincere. And I'd be delighted if you read some of my poems, preferably my earlier ones.

Once again, great piece!

Thank you so much! I was scared that the lyrics wouldn't make much sense to anyone but thank you, it really means a lot =^_^=

Wow, this is an incredibly written poem/song. I'm worried that if I ever listened to it with music, I'd go insane. Nevertheless, I loved it for its bewildering quality and funny language. The last line finished it off rather nicely.
