Fear cloaking my eyes
Not wanting to be part of this surprise
I'm closed up
Soaking up my eyes
A smile on my lips
That's a lie!
Memories free-flowing back to me
Never!
Never!
Not ever!
Then you wrap your arm around me
Reaching where my weak spot remains
Playing with emotions
Jealous, stupid notions
Pullling away
Running away
Letting me go
Letting it show
Gone forever
Fading away like waves
As you break like glass at my feet
The blood giving me strength
Hoping we never meet again this way
