A bird flying through the wind

I felt adrift in the wind,
No other birds around
I felt like I was in a corner pinned
I needed to get back and land on the ground
I decided to go in a nest for a while
When I got to the nest I found a flock
I decided to fly out of the pile,
I flew in shock,
I had finally felt like i normal bird for once
Other birds felt purple too, not just me
It just took me while too see
