Can you feel what I have seen, when no one else has lived through what I have?-HalveOfLife

Let the rain come,
Wash away my sins,
Let the thunder roll,
And the lightning Crash
To scare away the demons tonight.
Lord if you hear me,
Let the rain come,
And wash away my sins tonight.
I am tired of living in a world full of hate,
Can't anyone of us see how it is killing the other?
So let the rain come
To wash away our sins.
Let the thunder roll,
And the lightning crash,
To scare the demons
That are hiding deep inside away.

"If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them."
Henry David Thoreau

"I fell in love the way you fall asleep; slowly, and then all at once."
John Green

You write beautifully; your imagery is fantastic, as well as your technique of repetition. Also, I like how this poem is a sort of dialogue directed to God-- you don't find many of those, and I believe it's very unique.

We all want a clean start. To erase all sins and judgement from our lives. It's hard, but with the help of others (demonstrated by the rain, the thunder, the lightning), we can work together to drive out all evil. We can pray that God helps us along the way as well. But it's something we have to do.

I hope you write more, you have a loooooot of talent! :)
