a man

I once heard a story about a man
he tried and all he can
but one day when he was walking
a lonely soul was lurking
the man didn't know what to expect
his heart was going to be wrecked
just going to work another day
the only game left to play
last goodbye was never sad
the only good man left for dead
this story untold thrown away
so if a man bothers to say
be good to yourself and be true
slow yourself down and be you
