Neutrality
Neutrality, that’s quite the commodity,
Standing alone, I am an oddity.
It stems from the anxiety,
That stains my whole reality.
Grasping an unlikely future,
The wounds that I shall suture.
Ironically, studying issues of the brain,
Mine of which, leave me drained.
An abscess like no other,
Anxiety, it leaves me smothered.
My future is down the road,
But two potholes and a toll.
I doubt my will to fight it,
But my neutrality is there to guide it.
