Another End
I gazed down on Earth
Ocean blues and forest greens
Spinning lazily
I sighed as it roared
The bright hurling meteor
Towards our weathered rock
I imagined them
Screaming, pure terror wrenching
At my distant heart
Those people will die
But I cannot help them now
I am far and safe
I am only one
Of a past 8 billion
I am all alone
Will I traverse on
Continue our hopeless race
For another end?
