Drunken Love
Words slurred heavily.
Eyes cast down to avoid pain.
Will he be angry?
Many bottles fall.
Angry fists thud heavily.
Tears leak silently.
Long sleeves hid bruises,
Make up covers many scars.
Fake smiles hide lies.
Foul breath chokes the room.
Red rimmed eyes stare like demons,
Broken bottles kill.
Pain starts with a drink.
False smiles bring hurt bodies.
Drunken love is pain.
