droplets of rain
bead off the green leaves
with delicateness
warm weather and sun
birds singing their songs
repetitively
down the trees they go
Squirrels scurrying
to find their nuts
Insects crawling
and flying all around
some get eaten
pond water reveals
the fishes’ privacy
they are shy
flowers blooming
and the sun shining bright
spring is here at last
