Spring and Inner Conflict
Spring, what a season!
How come I am in shock, though?
It always has been
Temperature rising
and the weather changing lots
With rain in between
April starts it off
The rain, the tears, the sadness
But with hopes to come
May, the bloom of spring
Relief comes in to fill the voids
Caused by the sadness
The sun, fully out
spreads its beams of joy over
The flowery greens
The birds, they’re chirping
The bees, they’re pollinating
And the kids can play
June’s in full swing now
The sun, once a miracle
Now becomes boring
The heat! Oh, the heat!
Why did we want this before?
I want the cold back!
What’s the point of this?
While joy seems good and grief bad
You want a balance
Oh, and one more thing!
While rain seems like a bad thing
That’s what makes flowers
