Dead crispy yellow
Now sitting by the window

I was inspired to write this haiku after a visit to my grandma's in Kentucky. She had this yellow dying plant sitting by her window. She told me that the only way it would comeback to life was with "water, love, and a good talking to." This advice seemed to have a deeper meaning.
