Their hooves pound and stomp
Lead by the pounding of drums
They dance in the dark

The voices call out
Their master calls them by name
Spirits call to them

Charging to the tribe
The fire lit manes and hooves
Like mist in the dark

Inspired by my love of horses and Native Americans for a poetry project in English.
