I Believe in the Earth

Just a single spark
Rids darkness from the inside;
Surface set aflame.
Sturdy but broken,
Clawing up to the Heavens;
Branches persevere.
One moment in time,
You know all you desire;
Death to the night sky.
Agitates your mind -
Dust is gone from your dry eyes;
Don’t hide from yourself.
