A long and sad haiku
She left me to die
Threw me to the wolves, alone
Now I’m one of them
You didn’t text back
Gone is the friendship bracelet
Finally you smile
And so this is for
Those who stay anonymous
Hiding in shadows
Forever hidden
To those who cover their eyes
Who pretend they're fine
The invisible
We the forgotten, the gone
You the beautiful
Your jagged ice heart
You forgot to tell me that
You always felt love
Just a background girl
Like the lyrics of a song
That you've forgotten
