Inspired by my personal experience of coming out to my family, I penned this specific poem. People who had always stood by me no matter what were now beginning to see my situation as "not a man." This was one of the most difficult times in my life. In order to ensure that I don't ever see anything homosexual-related, they put cameras in my home and in my room. To me, my home was like a hellish place.
