The most wonderful time of the year
The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year!
Not because of the presents,
Not because of the snow,
Not because of the hot coco,
And not because of the big guy that chuckles ho ho ho.
We forget what Christmas is about every year.
You want me to tell you?
Well listen here.
It was a calm night in Bethlehem
And the stars were so bright.
Mary was riding on a donkey to get to a place,
A place to have Jesus,
The king of great grace.
They couldn’t find a warm place to stay.
All the hotels were full and they were sent away.
They found a manger where Mary could lay
And have the baby Jesus, oh, what a day.
When they got to the manger Mary laid down to pray
And she had the baby Jesus and He had nothing to say.
He didn’t cry He just smiled away.
Such a beautiful face that would save us all one day.
Christmas isn’t about all the fancy things
It’s really about what Jesus brings
This was the day he was brought to the earth
And He was always destined to save us from hurt.
Thank you Jesus for everything you gave
Oh what a special day he was brought to this place
And now it will always be a better place.
