The Girl With The Smile
There's this girl. She is strong. She is confident. She takes anything life throws at her and handles it beautifully. She does everything she is passionate about and never gives up. She adores life. She starts and ends the day with a smile on her face. She sees beauty in the smallest things and shares it with anyone who will listen. She believes she can be anything and do anything she sets her mind to. She thinks living forever isn't quite long enough. She always puts others before her.
But it's an act. She used to be that girl but somewhere along the way she lost herself. Now?
She is scared. She is traumatized. She is heartbroken. She is barely holding on by a thread. She walks through life with a glued on smile. She has no faith in herself. She expects herself to fail. She has so much going on in her life she can barely get a second to breathe. The only motivation she has to live is her family. She's dying on the inside. But on the outside. She is strong. She is confident. She is me.
