Forever
He breathes forever into my skin
And against the hollows of my throat
He writes our future with tongues and teeth
And whispers it to my parted lips
Threading eternity with his fingertips
And sewing it into my soul
He writes vows with his calloused hands
And delivers them broken, on his knees
Before me, begging as if to his majesty
That I give him forever too
Ask me then, ask me now
My answer remains, I want
Nothing more than this
Maybe, I'll promise forever
