Death
death
such a grueling subject most people avoid it
i embrace the fact that it could be over in a minute
so many things unsaid
that no one has said before they were dead
maybe it is better that way
so then others can reminisce on that pleasant day
when family and friends were alive and happy
all the memories of just you and me
i just want to sleep forever
and dream of the times we had together
all i want is to see your face again
to tell you of what has happened since then
but i am forced to wait
until that date
when i too
have moved on to something, somewhere new
