The Color Red
Red,
Like a bright juicy apple on a sunny day,
Or the fire that engulfs and destroys all it sees
Red,
Like summer and fun and maybe Christmas,
Or the blood of those forever lost
Red,
Like power and determination, pushing through your problems,
Or the anger and hatred that fuels them
Truth be told, I’ve never really understood Red.
