Breathless
How can you
Empty my lungs
With every inhale
And fill these
Aching ribs
On each exhale
Oh my god I think
I may crack
Marrow snapping away to conform
To air rushing through every
Unswept crevice
There is no Merriam Webster
To describe this feeling
You are ineffable
How it makes me mad
Mounting only to fall
And realizing those
Crests had been our peak
There is no bay
And it seems I am lost
At sea
Do you see me?
