As Maddie and I come inside from our Saturday run, we kick off our socks and shoes, throwing them to the floor. Wilson shifts his attention towards the commotion, sweaty and salty and delicious. He bolts for the socks nearly knocking Maddie over. He devoured them with prejudice. We didn’t want them back.
