I am a Writing Journal.
“Can I call you?” she said.
“Do you have time to talk?” he said.
“Come over, we need you” they said.
“Yes, I’m free” I say.
“Tell me everything” I tell him.
“I’m on my way” I text back.
She tells me about how the love of her life cheated on her.
He breaks down about his mom passing away.
They spill everything about the trouble they may be in.
I listen.
I sympathize.
I look deep into myself to give them the best advice.
I’m trusted.
My opinion is valued.
I’m always there.
