The Mask I Wear
My mask is here.
My mask is there.
My mask is everywhere.
My mask is on my face.
My mask is in outer space.
My mask is no shadow.
My mask is the light.
My mask shines, for the world to see,
while i have missed opprotunities.
My mask should peel away, okay,
but the rain plastered it on again, today
My mask is stuck, glued on.
No chisel can take it off.
My mask is solid, tougher than wood.
I still would take it off if I could.
And yet they ask me why I wear a mask.

Did you know why I use a mask? Is not for hide my sadness, neither hide my face of dissatisfaction. Is for hide my madness, and the desire to destroy all with my power.
