The Love In Her Eyes
Am I good enough?
All my life I’ve been treated rough
I’m not brave or tough
All my life I’ve been beaten down
All I want is to be buried in the ground
The dirt that muffles all the sound
Drowning in the dark
Have I even made my mark?
All it takes is just one painful remark
For me to stay up all night
With tears on my face, losing the fight
Is this even right?
It burns so bad
I’ve never been this sad
Depression is not a fad
She tries to help, I see the love in her eyes
But she doesn’t see the parts of me that I despise
She can barely hear my desperate cries
