Beneath the blanket a boy hides
With clearness of thought and an open mind
What monsters lie within the closet
What witches lie under the bed
What noise other than the dripping of the faucet
Can I hear within my head
Beneath the blanket a man lies in fear
Whose cowardice led to the weeping of tears
What tasks have yet to be finished
What debts have yet to be paid
Fixed was the dripping faucet
Yet I can only follow the path destiny laid
