Untitled
I heard about the tragedy in Florida;
A sad crime committed by a sad person
I can’t help thinking now
How sad our world has gotten
I watched the video wherein the parents
Of all the victims
Stood up and talked about their lost child
I must admit, I cried.
I want to be a light to the world
But how can I
If I’m too scared to walk outside?
I want to be successful
But how can I
if I don’t go to school?
I want to help the hurt people
But how can I
When they're pointing a gun my way?
Many questions, but
Never any answers
