Let us burn
How dare you smile at me.
How dare you act I haven’t been there your whole life.
After what you’ve put me through.
I don’t care if you can’t help it.
I don’t care about your problems.
Because you don’t care.
I’m not sure you ever have.
You twist me with that stupid grin thinking I’m gonna believe it.
I don’t know who you think you’re fooling.
Not after taking your scissors away before you made it worse.
Not after phone calls so we could stop you from ending it all.
…
I’m sorry.
For everything.
For putting you through that.
Because I knew we were just friends.
No.
No, I’m not.
What have I done?
Nothing but help.
Maybe I tried too much, but at least you know I cared.
“Fine”
“Good”
“Better”
No your not.
Don’t act like I’m gonna believe anything you say.
So it’s time.
Time to let us burn.
To blaze all that’s between us.
To kill our friendship
To save our lives.
