She picks up her pen
Though nothing to write
She glances out the window
Maybe the night?


The crisp page, just as blank as the pot of ink
Endless possibilities, though nothing to say
So she sits silently staring
Out the window at the stars
Maybe tonight will be alright
If she has them coming along.
